Introduzione

La produzione artistica rappresenta il ciclo della vita attraverso un percorso composto da dodici opere. Il punto di partenza è l’elemento acqua, da cui prende forma il “pesce pagliaccio italiano”, un’invenzione dell’artista. Questo soggetto ricorre nelle opere successive insieme a un altro elemento centrale: l’occhio del pesce, che trova la sua espressione simbolica nella spirale colorata.

Il lavoro si caratterizza per una forte componente sperimentale e comprende opere realizzate con supporti e materiali differenti. Pur essendo predominante l’uso del colore a olio, i supporti variano tra tela, legno, cemento e cartapesta, con l’inserimento di elementi come gli specchi. Alcune opere si ispirano all’arte cinetica, invitando l’osservatore a interagire e a diventare parte attiva del percorso creativo.

La collezione è stata concepita per essere accessibile a tutti, coinvolgendo non solo la vista, ma anche altri sensi, come l’olfatto e il tatto. In questo modo, anche le persone non vedenti possono vivere l’esperienza artistica: toccare le opere, immaginare le forme, percepire le diverse fragranze delle candele — ognuna con una propria identità — e lasciarsi trasportare dall’immaginazione.

Introduction

The artistic production represents the cycle of life through a journey composed of twelve works. The starting point is the element of water, from which the “Italian clownfish” takes shape, an invention of the artist. This subject recurs throughout the following works together with another central element: the fish’s eye, which finds its symbolic expression in the coloured spiral.

The work is characterized by a strong experimental component and includes pieces made with different supports and materials. Although oil paint is predominantly used, the supports vary between canvas, wood, cement, and papier-mâché, with the inclusion of elements such as mirrors. Some works are inspired by kinetic art, inviting the viewer to interact and become an active part of the creative process.

The collection is conceived to be accessible to everyone, engaging not only sight but also other senses such as smell and touch. In this way, even visually impaired people can experience the artwork: touching the pieces, imagining their forms, perceiving the different fragrances of the candles — each with its own identity — and letting themselves be carried away by imagination.

L'origine

La spirale è una delle forme geometriche più diffuse in natura e affascina l’uomo fin dalla Preistoria. Basti pensare alla vite rampicante, alla conchiglia o alle impronte digitali, solo per citarne alcuni esempi. L’intero universo sembra muoversi secondo questo schema: dal DNA umano agli ammassi galattici, dalle nubi interstellari alla rotazione di pianeti e stelle, fino al moto dei cicloni e ai campi energetici. La spirale appare così come il modello del movimento dell’energia universale. Essa richiama il fluire della vita e la ciclicità degli eventi: un continuo ritorno che si configura anche come una costante ricerca di conoscenza, tra vita e morte. L’osservatore diventa parte integrante dell’opera: può avvicinarsi, toccarla e metterla in movimento. L’arte si trasforma così in gioco, dinamismo e interazione, creando una connessione tra individuo e opera, fino a fondere l’essere con l’essenza delle cose.

The Origin

The spiral is one of the most widespread geometric forms in nature and has fascinated humankind since Prehistory. One can think of climbing plants, shells, or human fingerprints, just to mention a few examples. The entire universe seems to move according to this pattern: from human DNA to galaxy clusters, from interstellar clouds to the rotation of planets and stars, and even the motion of cyclones and energy fields. The spiral thus appears as a model of universal energy in motion. It reflects the flow of life and the cyclic nature of events: a continuous return that also represents a constant search for knowledge, between life and death. The observer becomes an integral part of the work: he can approach it, touch it, and set it in motion. Art thus becomes play, dynamism, and interaction, creating a connection between individual and artwork, until the interior being merges with the essence of things.

L’opera rappresenta lo stato sociale contemporaneo, segnato dal consumismo sfrenato e da dinamiche di potere che sembrano divorare la società. Anche in questo caso è prevista l’interazione con l’osservatore: il movimento dell’opera, attivato dalla sua azione, genera percezioni differenti, variabili in base all’intensità e all’energia della spinta. Ne deriva una visione mutevole, che riflette la complessità e l’instabilità del contesto sociale rappresentato.

Brutal Survival

The work represents the contemporary social condition, marked by rampant consumerism and dynamics of power that seem to consume society itself. Once again, interaction with the viewer is encouraged: the movement of the artwork, activated by the observer, generates different perceptions, varying according to the intensity and energy of the gesture. The result is a mutable vision that reflects the complexity and instability of the represented social context.
